I’m Ramadhan Triyanto $(LASTNAME). Usually, my online identity is ramadhantriyant (15 characters), which is suitable most application require a username in max 15 characters. I go with another username too.
I was a Senior Network Security Engineer in one of the biggest system integrator in Indonesia (was, I resigned March 30, 2022), with some of the biggest financial institution in Indonesia as their customers.
Currently, I’m a Network Security Officer at one of the largest Bank in Indonesia, working as one of the Netsec Ops team, supporting at least 39k employees around the country and some overseas too.
As my job title suggested, my main focus is in network security fields, but currently I (self) learn other technologies too, mainly Cloud computing (AWS and GCP) and DevOps.
Aside from writing a blog like this, I also like to:
- Reading nonfiction books from Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Carl Sagan, Michio Kaku, Brian Greene, Stephen Hawking, and Richard Dawkins.
- Reading fiction books from Dan Brown, the infamous Robert Jordan with his Wheel of Time series (currently at the second book), and Frank Herbert’s Dune series (also on the second book, curious with Princess Irulan’s plan), occasionally Stephen King, but I don’t like some of his titles. I also like to explore more about The Lord of The Rings series, but time is my biggest constraint.
- Learning (Thai) Language.
- Urban travelling (I grew up in a village, so I’m very used to rural areas).
